"Vestido" "Dress"

"Primavera de Herrería" - "Spring ironcraft"



This piece of jewelry is inspired in filigree, a heritage of the hispaniards teaching of working gold and silver, but mostly inspired in the "herrería" ironcraft of many old houses in Mexico. The floral motives, is a tribute to the vast fauna we have in Mexico.

"Cajita xochimilca con calaveritas de azucar" "Little Xochimilca box with sugar skulls"




This jewelry piece is a little "nicho" box that has inside of it, little sugar skulls. In mexico the day of the death (Nov 1 and 2) are days of celebration, remebering our love ones who aren't any more with us. It's a real fiesta, and food is an important part of this celebration. Sugar skulls are one of the candies specially made for this fiesta.
