"Catrina" by Orinal Veronica Perez

This is my version of the "Catrina". The first to create this image were Mr. Guadalupe Posadas, from the state of Aguascalientes, México, during the period of the Mexican Revolution. It's been said, he created this image to make fun of "Catrines" the rich people of the time of President Porfirio Diaz, they pretend to be "European". After a time the famous muralist Diego Rivera, make his version in a picture called "Sueño de una tarde dominical en Alameda Central". Inspired most in Diego Rivera's Catrina, here is my version. Hope you like it! You may find my Catrina, at Frida Kahlo Museum's store and Dolores Olmedo Museum's store!
